Section 3326 of United States Code Title 5 states, 180-Day Restriction on Department of Defense (DoD) Employment of Military Retirees.

For most employees, the maximum amount of annual leave that can be carried forward from one leave year to the next is 30 days or 240 hours. At the end of the leave year, hours in excess of this amount are normally forfeited.

AFDW Just-in-Time Refresher Supervisor Course

Command-sponsored training that provides pertinent supervisory instructions to all supervisors, military and civilian, of civilian employees. This course serves as a refresher for experienced supervisors who have not completed this course within the last 3 years or currently enrolled in any Air Force supervisory and managerial courses.

Must be identified as a supervisor of civilian employees in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS). NOTE: Completing this course does not negate the statutory requirement to complete the federally-mandated Air Force supervisory and managerial courses, per Title 5, Code of Federal Regulation 412.202 provided by Air University.

This course is conducted once a year in May. Registration is required to attend and is sent by email beginning in April.
